Workshop Master Printer
Arrange letters in mirror image in a composing stick, make up a complete page and print it on a genuine press.
In this workshop you'll first view book illustrations, prints and drawings. Then you’ll learn how to make a drypoint etching as you get to work with plexiglass, ink and a centuries-old etching press.
Etching emerged in the 16th century as a new form of reproductive printmaking. Important artists such as Van Dyck and Rembrandt were true masters of the technique.
During the workshop, you work in an atelier space. Your ticket is valid for a full-day visit to the rest of the museum.
