This project is the first step in a lasting partnership. Each of the five museums takes a unique look at various aspects of Belgian printing history. From the early sixteenth century to the present; from private presses tot industrial newspaper presses; from woodblock printing and chalcography, to lithography and 3D printing.
At the same time, all of these museums aim to preserve and explain the techniques and craftsmanship that underlie graphic products, and to pass them on to today's generation. These interactive museums give visitors the chance to try typesetting and printing themselves.
