With your donation you become part of our story.
How do you become a Donor?
How you donate, depends on you, of course. Under certain conditions, you may enjoy tax breaks. You can make an instant donation by a simple bank transfer, or arrange for a gift inter vivos. Or you can take an important decision: you can choose to include additional heirs in your will as well as your legal heirs. Leaving a bequest to a heritage institution such as the Museum Plantin-Moretus costs you nothing today, but will be extremely valuable to the Museum in the future.
Via a gift
You can give today. Gifts paid via the King Baudouin Foundation are tax-deductible at or above 40 euros (Art. 104 WIB).

Via a bequest
If you decide to leave a bequest to the Museum Plantin-Moretus in your will, we recommend that you first discuss this with your notary. Also of interest is the duo bequest, by which you leave a sum of money or a specific possession to your legal heirs and another sum of money or a specific possession to a charity such as the Museum Plantin-Moretus. The museum then pays both its own inheritance duty and those of the legal heirs. This increases the net amount left to the legal heirs.
