Workshop Master Etching Drypoint

Workshop for schools and groups

In the workshop you first view book illustrations, prints and drawings. Then you’ll learn how to make an drypoint etching as you get to work with plexiglass, ink and a centuries-old etching press.

The etching technique originated in the 16th century as a new form of reproduction graphics. Contemporaries of Rubens such as Van Dyck and Rembrandt were real virtuosos of etching.

During the workshop you will work in a studio. Your ticket is valid all day long to visit the rest of the museum.

Also discover the other workshops: Master Printer and Master Bookbinder.
