My language, your language

Guided tour - for young people and adults learning Dutch

During this guided tour, you will practise Dutch in a relaxed setting. You can speak in your own words and at your own pace. The guide asks questions, invites visitors to get hands-on, encourages collaborative thinking and provides a safe atmosphere where everyone can participate.

It all starts with the story of Christoffel Plantin - a newcomer in the 16th century who spoke a different language. He moved from France to Antwerp, built up a printing business and worked with people from many different places. His story demonstrates how language, migration and collaboration were already sources of strength and knowledge, even back then.

Museum Plantin-Moretus is a place where different cultures meet - in the past and the present. We provide the opportunity for your group to share their stories, questions and experiences. Because history is made up of more than just one story.

The level is adapted to suit the group.
