Welcome to the hustle and bustle

You and your class step into the story of the Plantin-Moretus family. You will learn all about the residence and the printing workshop, where nine generations of the family lived and worked. You'll also go on a tour that focuses on looking, feeling, talking and doing.

Welcome to the hustle and bustle

Guided tour - 1st through 6th year of primary school

A guide takes your pupils on a journey of discovery through the house. They learn about the residents, the business and the times in which they lived. Fun tasks and sensory experiences make the past come alive and encourage spontaneous conversations about the present: How do we work today? How do we live together? How do we express ourselves?

Museum Plantin-Moretus offers room for wonder, personal stories and curious questions. Because every pupil discovers and learns in their own way, which is something we encourage. This interactive approach creates a unique experience where the past doesn't just come to life, it also talks back.
